By the end of 2026, we will spend more on interest payments than on national defense. Let that sink in.
$38 trillion in debt and climbing $1 trillion every 100 days. Both parties point fingers while quietly raising the debt ceiling again last week.
They’ll tell you the only choices are:
•  Higher taxes (they’ll never pay)
•  Slash Social Security & Medicare (they’ll never touch)
They’re lying.
There is a third option that costs taxpayers exactly zero dollars and starts reducing the debt on day one.
It’s the same solution that ends elite capture of every other issue: permanently ban former members of Congress from ever lobbying.
Right now, the biggest buyers of congressional influence are Wall Street, Big Pharma, and the defense contractors, the same people who profit when we borrow another trillion.
Cut off their ability to buy legislation, and suddenly the incentive to explode the debt disappears.
No more sweetheart deals. No more pork-filled spending bills. No more voting to borrow money that lines their own pockets the day they leave office.
I lay out the numbers in our We the People movement (Read the main hub)
when the revolving door is welded shut, wasteful spending drops an average of 23% within four years (based on every country that’s already done it).
The debt crisis isn’t complicated.
It’s profitable — for them.
Make it unprofitable and watch it fix itself.
It is past time for We the People Rare Sense Government Reform!
